Welcome Backstage
We introduce you to the band members
We are all musicians, and this passion is at the heart of everything we do. We are just as happy to equip renowned professionals with first-class instruments as we are to provide beginners with expert advice and support in choosing the right instrument and accessories.
From classical music to jazz, from punk to techno – thanks to the diverse experience of the team at DIE HOLZBLÄSER, we cover every style of music and every ability! We’ve been doing it this way for almost 40 years and that’s what sets us apart.
We are with you every step of the way: before the purchase, during the purchase and after the purchase. And for many years to come!
OUR TEAM IS THERE FOR YOU

AccountingI am a rarity at DIE HOLZBLÄSER. Because I don’t play an instrument. But I love music all the more, especially classical and rock. You’ll find me at the back of the office, juggling our figures in the accounts department.

Jozef Majchrovic
Woodwind instrument makerI was born in Slovakia and after finishing school I trained as an instrument maker in the Czech Republic. The clarinet is my true love and I have been a permanent member of the workshop team at DIE HOLZBLÄSER since 2000.

pablo Otto
Woodwind instrument makerI have been playing the saxophone since I was 12 years old and have always had great fun doing it. Because I always wanted to do something manual, it wasn’t a difficult decision to complete my training as a woodwind instrument maker here, which I successfully completed in 2024.

Managing DirectorI worked in the media industry for over 20 years and only wanted to help out in the office for a short time. But DIE HOLZBLÄSER quickly grew on me – I stayed and take care of everything that doesn’t have to do with selling or repairing instruments.

Andreas Schmucker
SaleI studied clarinet in Berlin and founded DIE HOLZBLÄSER in 1985. I enjoyed running the business together with Thomas Reichle until 2022. Now I live in the Allgäu and continue to provide support from afar, for example with emails.
